Neuroscience and Group Dynamics

by | Dec 16, 2012 | Community, Leadership, Reflection

Abstract:
Just like the brain, group work is far from static. It is an ever-evolving matrix of relationships. Messages and roles are constantly changing from person to person, from neuron to neuron. To truly understand the group, it requires moment to moment presence and inquiry. As research into the brain and its social implications expands, a simple and fascinating question emerges: is there a floor or ceiling to human potentiality? This paper will explore this inquiry and examine how the latest neuroscience research impacts group dynamics.
